AIGLE.com!!

CLICK FOR CASH FOR HANDS ON DISASTER RESPONSE!

Until 15 November 2007, Aidgle search engine (www.aidgle.com) is donating all of its revenue to Hands On Disaster Response (www.hodr.org).

Aidgle was created by a Peruvian college student in the US following the devastating earthquake that struck Peru on 15 August 2007. It is a custom version of the Google search engine. Aidgle was created specifically to generate revenue for donation to nonprofit organizations doing relief work in current disaster locations.

Aidgle receives from Google 1 cent in revenue for each paid link accessed through the Aidgle search engine. As Aidgle is a customised version of Google, it produces exactly the same search results. Aidgle's initial aim is to attract 500,000 of Google's current 200 million daily hits, and as a result raise $5000 per day for donation to relief organisations. Given that most people Aidgle helps live on around $2 a day, 500,000 hits would help around 2,500 people per day. Of course the more hits the better!
